We knew we wanted to give away a beautiful, gorgeous wedding. For that we needed three things in particular: an amazing venue – check. The Farm at South Cove exceeded my expectations. Secondly, FLOWERS. LOTS AND LOTS OF FLOWERS. Denise at Barefoot Blooms NEVER disappoints. She designed the floral arch, flower arrangements and bouquets for both the styled shoot and the wedding. She is always so creative. Shanna and I gave her some guidance with the colour scheme and she took it from there. She showed up at the Farm on the day of the wedding with buckets and buckets of apple tree boughs with so many beautiful tiny green apples on them, blueberry branches dripping with fruit both green and blue and flowers for days. I am always amazed by the abundance she supplies. Such an amazing representation of Nova Scotia for this summer wedding!
We wanted to offer Kelsey and Zach a full wedding experience and that is never complete without a meal with your loved ones. The ladies from Sweet and Saucey Catering were so generous with their time and efforts and provided a beautiful meal for Kelsey, Zach and their family and everything was perfect.
Finally, we needed a couple. We had such an great reaction to our contest on social media but when the name was drawn we all so pleased because Kelsey was AMAZINGLY ENTHUSIASTIC. We couldn’t have been luckier to receive a client so happy and prepared to be married with one month notice.
Kelsey and Zach had been in each others’ orbit for years through high school and onward but it wasn’t until a chance meeting and one empty seat in a full auditorium that they became inseparable. And one more blessing…they are expecting their first child! We all could not be happier to have been able to offer this young family such a great start to the rest of their lives!!
